Our accessibility goal
Lavington United Church Academy wants parents, pupils, staff and visitors to be able to use this website regardless of device or access needs.
What we are doing
The website is designed with responsive layouts, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus states, semantic headings, labelled form controls, alternative text support for meaningful images, a skip-to-content link and reduced-motion support where animation is used.
Content added through the CMS
Accessibility also depends on the content added by editors. The CMS therefore highlights media that is missing alternative text and encourages meaningful page headings and descriptive links.
Known limitations
Some uploaded documents or older media may not yet meet the same accessibility standard as the main website. We aim to improve such material when it is identified or when an accessible alternative is requested.
